Who are The Kimterns?
As a mother of 2 college-aged kids, Kim knows how important it is to have the voices of young people uplifted in politics. That is why we are proud to announce the launch of our internship program, The Kimterns! Our program is dedicated to giving young people a voice in political campaigns by directly reaching out to voters in NYS Senate District 7. The Kimterns Program runs from today until Election Day this November 5th. We are accepting applications every day, and interviewing students across the district so that we can provide the opportunity of participating in organizing efforts. All students between the ages of 15-22 are welcome to apply. Living in the district is not required!

What does a Kimtern do?
A Kimtern does direct voter contact! Through canvassing and phone banking,
interns reach out to all voters in the district, communicating and advocating for
Kim’s platform, issues, and policies with other students.
Speciality Projects are always available to interns that
have various skills such as:

Graphic Design
Social Media
Communications
Public Speaking
Finance
Organizing
Community Outreach
Youth Outreach
High School/College Recruitment
And much more!

What are available internship positions?

High School Intern (5 hours/week)

College Intern (7.5 hours/week)

Campaign Fellow (10 hours/week)

All internship positions have the same basic functions, with different hour requirements based on the position applied for.
